Polars, Ptarmigans set for 58th Annual Sno-Bowl

The 58th Annual New Prague Sno-Bowl football game will be held at noon on Saturday Dec. 30, at Memorial Park.

There will be pregame festivities before the game at Fishtale Grill starting at 9 a.m. A meal and awards will take place after the game at Whiskey Business in the upstairs banquet room.

The Sno-Bowl is an annual tackle football game between two teams of New Prague alumni, and all alumni are welcome to participate. Everyone is welcome as a spectator.

The Polars, who are owned by Aaron Shetka, Russ Kes, Jason Haugen and Mike Jirik, currently lead the series over the Ptarmigans 31-16 with 10 ties.

The Ptarmigans, owned by Chase Buthe, Jake Schoenecker, Paul Frykman and Andrew Wolf, were victorious last year by a score of 14-6.
