Pomroy - Anderson

David and Kathleen Anderson of Webster and John and Linda Pomroy of Eagan announce the marriage of their children. Madina Anderson and Adam Pomroy were married on June 5, 2015, in a sunset ceremony on the beach in Maui, Hawaii. On June 20, friends and family celebrated at a reception dinner and dance in the Garden Room of the Eden Prairie Community Center. In recognition of Madina’s origins in Bihar, India, the couple wore traditional Indian wedding dress. Madina wore a bejeweled red silk sari and veil, and on her forehead traditional bindi and tika. Henna designs covered her hands and feet. Her husband wore a white quarta suitcoat decorated with gold accents. Western foods and dance were mingled with the foods and dance of India at the reception. Madina is a graduate of Winona State University and is employed by the Bloomington schools. Adam has a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and is a senior financial analyst for Eyebobs. The couple is at home in Apple Valley.
