Post 45 loses to Mahtomedi
New Prague lost to Mahtomedi 9-0 in its second round game of the Third District American Legion baseball playoffs in Burnsville Thursday. Post 45 moves on to the loser's bracket in the tournament and will face Apple Valley at 8 p.m. at Alimagnet Park-Vanderlaan Field.
That makes things tougher for New Prague in their hopes of securing a state tournament berth. They must win four games over three days in order to claim third place in the district and get a state berth.
