If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personnel property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.

The Scott County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) will receive sealed proposals for window replacement and related rehabilitation work at its senior housing building in Prior Lake, MN. TOWN OF CEDAR LAKE SCOTT COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO LANGFORD TRAIL

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Town Board of Cedar Lake Township, Scott County, Minnesota, will meet at the St. Patrick Social Hall at 7:00 p.m. on June 7, 2005 to consider the bituminous paving portions of Langford Trail, all said improvements located within Cedar Lake Township, Scott County, State of Minnesota, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 420.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed are all those properties abutting or having access to Langford Trail, all located in Cedar Lake Township. The estimated cost of the improvement to Langford Trail is $196,086. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.

Whereas, residents of Cedar Lake Township residing on Langford Trail have expressed an interest in having said road paved and the costs of said paving assessed back to the benefiting property owners; and

whereas, the Town Board sought to determine the estimated costs of paving said road by commissioning a feasibility study of the proposed project from Greg Halling of Halling Engineering, Inc., the township’s engineer, Mr. Halling was directed to report back to the township with the feasibility study by June 7, 2005.

Whereas, Cedar Lake Township has received a feasibility study prepared by the Mr. Halling related to the cost to pave portions of Langford Trail, all said improvements located within Cedar Lake Township, Scott County, State of Minnesota; and

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the town board of cedar lake township, scott county, minnesota;

1. The Engineer’s feasibility studies are hereby received and accepted by the Town Board of Cedar Lake Township. The feasibility study for Langford Trail is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

2. A public hearing shall be held on said improvements on June 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m., at the St. Patrick Social Hall and the clerk shall have mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.

PUBLIC NOTICE

New Market Township Residents Special Meeting

You are hereby notified that there will be a Special Meeting held on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 7:00 pm. at the New Market Area Hall. Purpose of the meeting is to consider changing the density in the RR-1 zoning district from 1 unit per 10 acres to 1 unit per 8 acres. This only pertains to the Northern 1/2 of New Market Township, that is, the land that lies North of 250th St., with the exception of some of the land that lies in Section 1 and Section 13. Also exception of the land that lies North of the Vermillion River in Section 22 and Section 23. All interested Township residents are invited to attend.

School District No. 721 Summary of School Board Meeting May 9, 2005

In order to enhance the timelines of reporting happenings at school board meetings, we have changed to summation reporting. These summations will be printed in the newspaper the same week as the board meeting is held. Should you wish to view the minutes in their entirety, contact the District Office.

The regular meeting of the New Prague Area Schools was called to order at 7:00 pm on May 9, 2005. Board members absent were Reed and Tietz. All other members were present. The school board approved the agenda and supplemental agenda which included the non-renewal of teacher contracts.. Approval of all items on the consent agenda was unanimous. In Action, the board adopted the 2005-2006 School Budget; accepted and approved the recommendation of the Elementary Buildings Task Force Committee; and approved the reinstatement of the Hockey partnership with Montgomery/Lonsdale including stipulations and ending the partnership at the end of the 2006-2007 school year. By roll call, the board adopted the resolution approving the non-renewal of teacher contracts. While in committee of the whole, the board received sub-committee reports and dates to note. The committee rose and adjourned the meeting at 7:26 pm.
