Memorial Blood Centers of Minnesota’s recent community blood drive at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague surpassed its goals for the event.
Held at the hospital’s Jameen Mape Conference Center on Wednesday, April 13, the drive had 88 people show up, passing its goal of 65, and collected 80 useable units of blood. There were seven people who were first time donors at the event, sponsored by the Queen of Peace Hospital Auxiliary.
