The Minnesota Department of Transportation's (MnDOT) reconstruction work on Highway 13/19 has been pushed back a few weeks due to the recent rains.
Susan Museus, construction project manager with MnDOT's District 7 Office out of Mankato, said crews from Chard Tiling & Excavating need two to three weeks of good weather to complete the project. The business informed her of the delay during a meeting on Friday, Oct. 5.
The opening of the highway, which includes New Prague's East Main Street, was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12.
