Randy Tikalsky, 54
Randy L. Tikalsky, 54, of Chanhassen, formerly of New Prague, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at his home.
Born March 10, 1954, in New Prague, Randy was a son of Henry and Lorraine (Hadac) Tikalsky. He attended St. Wenceslaus School, New Prague High School and St. Cloud State College, where he started a rugby team. Randy had been living in Chanhassen for 25 years. He was a maintenance supervisor at Certainteed in Shakopee for 29 years and also worked at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Randy loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was a big NASCAR fan.
He is survived by special friend Susie Kleve, Chanhassen; siblings Allen (Lucille), New Prague, Richard (Amy), Chaska, Milton (Denise), New Prague, Wayne, New Prague, Becky (Jim) Kalhoefer, Texas and Deb (Bob) Jensen, Isle; and 12 nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 16, at 3:30 p.m., at the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague, with Rev. Kevin Clinton officiating.
Interment was at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in New Prague. Pallbearers were Craig Sindelar, Glen Busch, Tom Skaja, Steve Heckenlaible, Lloyd Busch and Michael Bryan.
Visitation was held from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bruzek Funeral Home.
