Richard Dorzinsky, 82
Richard Francis Dorzinsky, 82, of Le Center, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at the Central Health Care Center in Le Center.
Richard was born in Le Sueur County on April 3, 1928, a son of Albert and Ida (Retka) Dorzinsky. He attended country school and then served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, from December 4, 1950, to September 4, 1952. Upon returning home he farmed in the Le Center area. Richard was a member of the VFW and American Legion posts. He enjoyed card playing, fishing, spending time outdoors and carpentry.
He is survived by siblings Edmund (Mary Agnes) Dorzinsky, New Prague, Frank (Carol) Dorzinsky, Le Sueur and Agnes (Glen) Tuma, Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Marie Dorzinsky.
Funeral services were held at the Le Center Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m., with military honors provided by the Le Center Area Veteran's Honor Guard.
Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Visitation was held Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Le Center Funeral Home.
