Rosalie Peterson, 69

Rosalie A. Peterson, 69, of Elko, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.

Born July 27, 1938 in Clifton, NJ, Rosalie was a daughter of Henry A. and Tina (Saltamachio) Naughton. She attended Clifton Public Elementary and High School. She married Roland J. Peterson on April 21, 1957, in Passaic, NJ, and they moved to Elko in 1978. Rosalie's occupations included administrative assistant for Lakeville Schools, cook at New Prague Elementary School, sales clerk for Dayton's and Marshall Fields, and owner and operator of Woman's World in New Prague. She was very active in groups at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague. Rosalie and Roland enjoyed wintering in Florida the last two years and she enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her husband; sons Brian (Karen) Peterson, Augusta, KS and Scott (Elizabeth) Peterson, Spring Lake, MI; three grandchildren; siblings Conard Peterson, Augusta, KS, Grace Peterson and Grant Peterson, both of Spring Lake, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 21, at 11 a.m., at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague, with Rev. Steve Trewartha officiating.

Visitation was at the church one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements were with the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
