Roxie Roemhildt, 59

 Roxie Roemhildt, 59, of Le Center, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her home. Roxie was born on July 10, 1953, a daughter of Alvin and Evelyn (Scheffert) Lukes. She graduated from Le Center High School and married Curtis Roemhildt on September 13, 1975, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. She worked at E.F. Johnson Radio in Waseca and after starting her family worked in her home as a daycare provider for many families for 35 years. Roxie enjoyed canning, family, friends, camping, children and being at the lake. She is survived by her husband; children Jill (Gene) Boyd, Le Center, and Christopher (Michelle) Roemhildt, Cleveland; grandchildren Austin, Kaitlyn, Alexys, Alivya and Chase; her mother; and a sister Debbie (Kenny) Adams, of Le Center. She was preceded in death by her father. A celebration of her life was held on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m., at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. Visitation was held Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center.
