Kyle Schafer and Katherine Montag announce their engagement.

Kyle is the son of Craig and Kathleen Schafer of Elko New Market and a 2005 graduate of New Prague. Kyle is a lineman with Dakota Electric of Farmington.

Katie is the daughter of Nancy Feldbrugge-Roland of Apple Valley and Jim and Jane Montag of Hayward, WI. Katie is a 2007 graduate of Apple Valley is completing her pharmacy doctorate.

The couple is planning a fall 2013 wedding.
