School board gets bad news
New Prague Area Schools Superintendent Larry Kauzlarich informed school board members during tonight's workshop meeting that he would be leaving the district at the end of his current contract on June 30. Board members expressed disappointment with Kauzlarich's decision. He joined the district in July, 2011, as interim superintendent and agreed last January to serve a second year.
Board members discussed how to proceed with a search for a new superintendent, and will continue the talks at their January 28 meeting. See more in the January 17 edition of The New Prague Times.
