School board OKs choir trip

New Prague Area School Board members conditionally approved a trip by the New Prague High School choir to Chicago in early March. Choir director Rita Sapp was at the meeting to talk about the trip. Board member Dan Carlson asked about the educational reasons for the trip and also had several questions regarding school policy and chaperones for the trip. After a long discussion, the board voted 6-1 to approve the trip, with Carlson opposed.
