School Board will hold special meeting Feb. 7

The New Prague Area School Board will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7.

The meeting will be for board members to agree on candidates for the first round of interviews for the superintendent's position.

The application period ends Thursday, Jan. 31 for the position. Board members will have the chance to review the applications through February 5.

The board hopes to hold interviews the week of February 11, then following the last interview, will select their final three candidates and set dates for site visits between February 26 and 29.

Final interviews will take place in early March.
