School evacuated following gas line break

A broken gas line caused by road construction resulted in the evacuation of New Prague Central Education Campus Tuesday, June 7.

The building, which includes the sixth grade annex, was vacated shortly after the leak was reported at 2:10 p.m.

Students were moved to the middle school across the street for the remainder of the day, and buses that usually line up along Central Avenue S., were rerouted to Seventh Street NE.
