Seventh grader enjoys winter on homemade dog sled

Travis Vikla enjoys building things. He especially likes to construct items out of wood, from shelves to birdhouses. His latest project was a little more ambitious.

The seventh grader at New Prague Middle School took time this winter to fashion his own dog sled. He’s already used it a few times on his family's farm, about 11 miles east of New Prague.
