Skating rinks open

New Prague's ice skating rinks and warming house at Sliding Hill Skate Park opened for use on Thursday, Jan. 5. While the forecast called for temperatures in the high 40s on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 6, city staff expected the ice base of the skating rinks to hold up, especially if the sky remains overcast.
