A snowless Sno-Bowl
On Saturday, Dec. 30, at Memorial Park, New Prague's Sno-Bowl, the long-running annual football game between the Polars and the Ptarmigans ended with a score of 6-6. This was one of the few years where the game played by New Prague High School alumni didn't have any snow as temperatures were in the high 30s. After the game Cervenka was named Rookie of the Year. Other awards went to Brian O'Neill-Outstanding Lineman; Dustin Steinhoff-Offensive MVP, and Jim Cavanaugh-Defensive MVP. Most Valuable Player was Chad Skluzacek and Goat of the Game was Dan Minar.
