St. Wenceslaus to hold annual church festival

Cash prizes totalling $2,000, as well as various other hand-made articles will be among the awards given away during the St. Wenceslaus Festival in New Prague, August, 14.

A grilled chicken dinner with homemade kolacky, rolls and pie will be served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased after the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturday, Aug. 13, then again on Sunday from 7 a.m. until sold out.

Various booths will offer homemade canning and baking. A wide variety of handmade craft items such as quilts, rugs and towels will also be available.
