Storch advances to State Wrestling Tourney

WEM junior Will Storch won the Section 2AA 195 weight class during the Section 2AA Wrestling Tournament Saturday in Waseca. Storch, rated 6th in the state, will advance to the 2017 Class A State Tourney Friday and Saturday in St. Paul. Storch is 35-2 this season after defeating Jordan Simonette of TCU for the section title. That win was also his 100th career victory. Storch will face Montevideo senior Matt Baloun (27-12) in his first round state match Friday, March 3 at approximately 12:30 p.m. For more on Storch's Section and State wrestling accomplshments, check out the March 2 edition of the LIFE/Enterprise.
