Swimmers swamped by Storm

The New Prague Trojan swim team hosted Chanhassen at the Montgomery pool Thursday, Oct. 6, and the Storm claimed a 149-37 win over the Trojans.

New Prague had just one first place finish, Britin Thomsen in diving. She scored 180.5 points.

Top Trojans in the other event all placed fourth. They included Kayla Chromy, in the 200 freestyle, Carly Ploumen in the 100 Individual Medley Sydney Anderson in the 50 freestyle, Lilly Schulte in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, Abbey Kallal in the 100 freestyle, Brittany Reed in the 100 breaststroke and three relay teams, the 200 medley relay, (Ploumen, Reed, Schulte and Anderson), 200 freestyle relay (Alyssa Logue, Thomsen, Kallal, Reed) and the 400 freestyle relay (Logue, Schulte, Anderson and Ploumen).

The Trojans will swim at Farmington Thursday, Oct. 13, then host St. Peter on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
