TCU football is 3-0 with win over Crusaders

The TCU Titan Football Team improved its record with a conference win over the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders on Friday, Sept. 13.

The win puts TCU's overall record at 3-0, and conferece record at 2-0, with all road games.

Highlights came from a 50-yard touchdown by John Christian in the first quarter. Charlie Simonette, added another touchdown on a punt return. 

The Crusaders' were close to gain momentum in the second quarter but encountered several penalites and late starts. 

The Titans added their third touchdown in third quarter with a run by Pat Lloyd, who added TCU's fourth and final touchdown in the fourth quarter after an interception, followed by a 30-yard run.

Next Action:

The Titan's host their first home game, in the fourth week of the season, on Friday, Sept. 20 at the TCU Athletic Complex.
