Tennis loses conference match to Jordan
The TCU Tennis team lost a close conference match to Jordan on Thursday, Sept. 12 in Jordan.
Jordan 4 - Tri City United 3
“We played well at some spots but not as well as we needed to at others,” said Coach Phil Murry. “We got big wins from #3 and #4 singles, but It all came down to #2 singles being on the court. She came back to win the second set but got beat 6-4 in the deciding set.”
Murry said the team’s #2 doubles team continues to improve.
“They seem to find ways to win. This score (6-1, 7-6, 7-3) just shows how balanced our conference is this year. A large portion of the matches are ending up 4-3,” he said.
