Tennis Trojans lose in section opener

New Prague lost a tight contest in its Section 2AA opening round girls tennis match at New Ulm Wednesday, Oct. 3. The Eagles swept the singles competition and won by a 4-3 score.

New Prague winners included the teams of Briana Skluzacek and Allison Stupica at No. 1 doubles, the No. 2 team of Sara Lang and Evan O'Malley and the No. 3 pairing of Maria and Alexis Johnson

The Trojans will turn their attention to the sub-section individual tournament Saturday, Oct. 13. Two singles players and two doubles teams will compete for each team. The section finals will be Wednesday, Oct.
