Terry Gene Stevens, 58
Terry Gene Stevens, 58, of Kilkenny, and formerly of Wabasha, died on Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at his home.
Terry was born in Hammond on April 25, 1946, to William and Camilla (Murray) Stevens. He attended elementary school in Hammond and high school at Gilmanton, WI.
On December 23, 1966, he married Marilyn Schroeder at Wasbasha. Terry lived in various places in Minnesota before moving to the Shieldsville area in 1982. He owned and operated Stevens Well Service and Repair at Shieldsville since 1993. Terry enjoyed snowmobiling, casino gaming, working on cars, boating and camping. He was a member of the Shieldsville Sporstman Club and a former member of the Moose Club.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, Kilkenny; five sons, Jeffrey, Faribault, Gary, Owatonna, Robert, Northfield, William, New Market, and Bryan Stevens, Montgomery; one granddaughter, Nicolle; six sisters, Marilyn (Lloyd) Wilcox and Barbara (Gerald) Weinrich, both of Wabasha, Joy Sweet, Elgin, Cheryl (Gaylen) Keller, Casa Grande, AZ, Michelle (Kevin) Tlougan, Plainview, and Nonie Wenonah (Jon) Arleth, Rochester; two brothers, Ronald (Rhonda) Stevens, Kellogg, and Larry Stevens, Elgin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel, Plainview.
Visitation was from 5:30 - 8 p.m. on Friday at the Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel, in Plainview, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Burial was in Pleasant Prairie Cemetery, south of Hammond.
