Thomas Warner, 55

Thomas Patrick Warner, 55, of Sac City, IA, formerly of Belle Plaine, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at Loring Hospital in Sac City following a sudden illness.

Memorial services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 at Phillips Family Center in Vinton, IA.

Thomas Weasel Warner was born May 30, 1951 in Storm Lake, IA, the son of R.T. Bill and Cheryl (Stufflebeam) Warner. He attended school in Vinton, IA and graduated from Ackley High School in 1969. Tom owned and operated the Viking Bay Restaurant and Lounge in Schaller and Sac City, IA. He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his son, Joshua (Jennifer Gingrich) Warner, Portland, OR; two daughters, Kati Warner, Fridley, formerly of New Prague and Ann Warner, Minneapolis; stepfather, James Kirk, Vinton, IA; two sisters, Cynthia (Paul) Klein, Rickardsville, IA and Claudia Warner, Commanche, IA; his stepsister, Deb Kirk, Golden, CO; three grandchildren, Riley Jensen, Jack Thomas Taylor and Elsa Warner; and his companion, Paulene Vandenheuvel, Sac City, IA and her son Johnny (Jenny) Svien and their children, Katelyn and Abby, of Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his stepbrother, Dan Kirk.
