Three straight wins for Lady Bucs

The WEM volleyball team improved to 9-3 overall with three straight wins last week. The Lady Bucs defeated Tri City United in four sets, swept Maple River, and downed St. Peter in four sets. WEM will travel to New Richland Thursday, Sept. 21 before playing in the Midwest volleyball Class A Showcase Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23 in Burnsville. Six of the top 10 teams in Class A are entered in the tourney. WEM will open pool play against No. 3 Hayfield, and will also play undefeated Canby, and Windom Area.
