The Times announces holiday contests

Baby Contest

The Times' First Baby Contest, will accept entries until 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at the 24 area businesses participating in this year's contest.

Each business will donate a gift for the family of the first baby born in 2008 at New Prague's Queen of Peace Hospital.

Readers can win by filling out one or more ad coupons for the contest found in the December 6 issue of The New Prague Times.

Coloring Contest

It's time for The New Prague Times' annual Christmas Coloring Contest. Contest forms and rules can be found in the December 6 issue of The New Prague Times.

Sixteen area businesses are sponsoring the annual contest. There are three age categories for entries: ages 4-under, ages 5-7 and ages 8-10.

Entries must be returned to The Times office by Thursday, Dec. 13, for judging. Winners will be announced in the December 20 edition of The Times.
