Timothy O'Brien, 51

Timothy J. O.B. O'Brien, 51, of New Prague, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Tim was born May 27, 1959, in New Prague, a son of Raymond and Pauline (Lexa) O'Brien. A lifelong resident of New Prague, he was a 1977 graduate of New Prague High School. He married Linda Meyer on May 26, 1988, at Shakopee. Tim was a warehouseman at United Steel in Montgomery, and had worked as a station attendant at Crawford Standard in New Prague for 16 years. He loved yard work, gardening, his roses and fishing. He had a good sense of humor and was always ready to help.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter Jennifer (Brad) Flicek, Lonsdale; stepdaughter Angela Budreau, New Prague; five grandchildren; his parents; and a sister Mary O'Brien, New Prague.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m., at the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague, with Deacon Bob Wagner officiating.

Interment will be at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in New Prague. Pallbearers will be Joseph Lexa Jr., Brad Flicek, Jim O'Brien, Randy O'Brien, Mark Wolf and John Wolf.

Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bruzek Funeral Home.
