Titan baseball coach inducted into Hall of Fame

The Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association recognized a Titan Baseball coach by inducting him into the 2015 Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, Oct 24 in Minneapolis.

This year marks Bruce Davis’ 30th year as a head baseball coach. Prior to coming to Montgomery-Lonsdale High School, Davis coached for one year at Claremont High School. He continued as a head coach when the Montgomery-Lonsdale and Le Center School Districts consolidated to form Tri-City United in 2013.

The Hall of Fame award joins the several other recognitions that Davis has received. He has been named Minnesota River Conference (MRC) “Coach of the Year” six times, and was a Class “A” Minnesota State Coach of the Year in 1999.

Two of his teams and players made it to the State Tournament. The 1999 Montgomery-Lonsdale Redbirds Team won the Class “A” State Championship, and the 2000 Team was the Class “AA” State runner-up.
