Titan grapplers top the Giants
The TCU Titans toppled the Le Sueur Henderson Giants in a January 24 wrestling match in Le Sueur.

“Overall I thought we had a pretty good night. It's always nice to get a conference victory,” said Titan Coach Brian Mikel. “Le Sueur Henderson fought hard every step of the way, and we were able to pull away toward the end.”

170 - Josh Selly won by fall. “Josh really stepped up when we needed a pin tonight,” Mikel said.
182 - Kyle Hubert won by dec. 5-4.
195 - Joe Kalina won by fall.
“Both Kyle and Joe wrestled very well and got us some badly needed team points toward the end of the meet,” the coach said.
220 Double Forfeit
285 - Alex Burns won by fall. “Alex took control of his opponent midway through the first period with a pin to end the meet,” the coach said.
Next action was Tuesday, Jan. 29 against Glencoe Silver Lake at home, followed by Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Cannon Falls Invitational.
