  Medford 28 - 7 - 35

The Titans held an 11-point lead in the first half (39-28), and continued with the offensive attack in the second, while holding the Tigers to only seven points (38-7), to finish with a dominating win at 77-35.

The Titans were also dominating on the boards, winning the rebounding battle 38-20. Another important statistic that had to make a difference in the contest was in the steals department, with TCU having 15, the Tigers three. Turnovers were relatively even in the game, the Titans with 13, the Tigers 16.

Titan coach Ben Haugen was more than pleased with the performance of his team.

“I was really proud of the way the boys played tonight on both ends of the floor,” commented the coach. “In the second half, we played disciplined defense and shared the ball at a high level. We learned a lot as a team from our first game and definitely improved on several weaknesses.”

The Titans had balanced scoring by several individuals, and a couple who stood out at a high level.

“Nate Chadderdon had a huge night for us with 16 points and 20 rebounds,” coach Haugen continued. “Jamison Beulke also attacked the rim well and led the scoring with 20 points.”

Additional scoring came from Keegan Oak with nine points, Aaron Dwyer eight, and Pat Lloyd seven, followed by four each for Hunter Hinze and Carter Rynda, three for Jackson Feddema and two apiece for Brandon Turgeon, Sam Ehlers and Ted Christian.

Peterson led Medford with 13 points.
