Titans end season at section tournament
The season for the Titan Boys Basketball team came to an end on Thursday, March 9 at the Section 2AA Boys Basketball Tournament in New Prague.
The Titans, No. 7 seed, were taking on No. 3 seed Glencoe-Silver Lake at New Prague High School and lost 43-64
The Montgomery team opened the contest on a high note thanks to guard Kyle Hintz who quickly established a 6-0 lead after sinking a two-pointer, followed by a free throw and a three-point shot. The Panthers didn’t get on the scoreboard until almost three minutes into the game.
