Titans toppled by Saints

In their second round of subsection 2AA baseball play, the TCU Titans fell to the St. Peter Saints in Montgomery after five innings, with a score of 13-2.
 
The TCU team scored their first run in the 2nd inning when Cole Pint’s single brought home Ted Christian.
However, the Titans fell into trouble in the 3rd inning when multiple errors left the door open for the Saints to score 8 runs.
 
The local team didn’t score again until the 5th inning when David Trcka scored Ryan Iverson.
Next up for the Titans is another chance with a game against Watertown-Mayer in Belle Plaine tomorrow, June 1. Watertown-Mayer holds an 11-7 record, and TCU stands at 12-8. On May 30. WM beat Belle Plaine 5-0.
