Titans VB suffers 1-3 loss to WEM
The Tri City United High School volleyball team came out strong, wining the first set 25-20 in their match-up against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Tuesday, September 13 in Waterville. However, the Titan girls just could not keep the momentum going, dropping the next three sets to the WEM Buccaneers for the loss.

Maddy Malecha led the way for TCU with 17 kills and 25 digs. She also had one assist and service ace. Gabby Robinson had 14 kills, 23 digs and two service aces. Cassie Christian had 19 assists, with eight kills and nine digs, while Katie Ellingsworth had 17 assists and 21 digs.
The TCU team has a busy schedule for the next week. Thursday night, September 15 will have them on home court against Belle Plaine. They travel to Waseca on Monday, September 19, and are back at home on Tuesday, September 20 for a match-up against Sibley East.
