Torchlight Committee announces Jr. Grand Marshals
Second graders Trista Gessler and Brayden Siebsen are excited about this year’s Torchlight Parade and Fireworks, partially because they love the event, but mostly because the two have been chosen as this year’s junior grand marshals for the event on Thursday, Dec. 1.
The two were chosen to lead this year’s parade from permission slips that were sent to second grade parents and returned to the schools. Members of the Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Committee then randomly drew from the submitted names and picked Gessler and Siebsen. Gessler, the daughter of Terry and Heidi Gessler, is a second grader at TCU Montgomery. Brayden attends Most Holy Redeemer and is the son of Tim and Jesse Siebsen.
