Travis Rutt earns All-American honors

Travis Rutt, who will be a sophomore at New Prague High School this fall, placed in the Cadet Freestyle and Greco-Roman National Wrestling Championships last weekend.

He joined more than 4,500 wrestlers from 49 states for the USA Wrestling Event in Fargo, ND. USA Wrestling is the national governing body for the United States Olympic development and selection of teams. The cadet division is for athletes 16 years old and under.

Sixty competitors joined Rutt in the 130-pound Greco-Roman division.
