Trojan boys earn split

New Prague High School's boys basketball team continued its up-and-down patterns, easily defeating St. Peter, then losing to Austin in a pair of non-conference games.

The Trojans (5-4, 0-1 Missota) were scheduled to play at Albert Lea Tuesday. On Friday they resume Missota Conference action with a game at Farmington at 7:30 p.m. They host Faribault in a makeup game at 2 p.m. Saturday, then host Red Wing at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Trojans 62, Saints 27

New Prague jumped to a big lead against the winless Saints and kept building on it as they took a 62-27 win at St.
