Trojan girls fall to Waconia

Clawing their way back from an 11-2 hole, the New Prague Trojan girls basketball team took a lead in the second half of its Section 5AAA quarterfinal game against Waconia, but couldn’t hold on as they lost to the Wildcats 45-40 Saturday at Minneapolis North High School.

As they have all year, New Prague used an aggressive pressure defense to force turnovers that put them back in the game.
