Trojan girls track team tops 5-team field at Faribault

The New Prague High School girls track team began their outdoor season April 5 with a five-school meet in Faribault. The girls had a strong showing, taking first place and placing at least one athlete in the top three in all but two events.

New Prague had 146 points. Dover-Eyota/St. Charles was second with 104, followed by Faribault (91), St. Paul Arlington (18) and Southwest Christian (6).

The Trojans have been traditionally strong in the field events, and Tuesday’s meet showed this year’s squad should be no exception.
