Trojans advance in 2AA girls tennis

New Prague is in uncharted waters in the Section 2AA girls tennis tournament.

The Trojans won their opener Tuesday, 6-1 against Orono. Coach Randy Anderson believes it is the first time the Trojans have won their first round section match in team competition.

Their reward, if you can call it that, is a trip to Eden Prairie, where they will take on the state's No. 2-ranked Eagles in the second round. Eden Prairie has just two losses on the year—both to No. 1-ranked Edina. No date or time had been set for the match at press time.
