Trojans down Titans 27-6

The Worthington Trojan Football Team  gave the TCU Titans their second consecutive loss of the season at the TCU Homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 23 in Montgomery with a 27-6 score.

The Titans put themselves on the board on the Trojans’ first possession when junior wide receiver Zach Mikel (pictured) intercepted a Trojan pass and ran it 23 yards for a TCU touchdown. The TCU team got close on a few other occasions, particularly in the fourth quarter when Zach Sexe returned a punt 73 yards. TCU got to the one-yard line but running back Mason Rutt was stopped short from the goal. 

The team’s other chance was a few minutes later when running back Marty Kalina returned a punt to the Trojan 20-yard-line.
