Trojans to face Kennedy in 2A hockey opener
The New Prague Trojans received the No. 8 seed in the Section 2A boys hockey tournament and start the post season the same way they started the regular season, facing No.9 Bloomington Kennedy. The game will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis. If they win, the Trojans would face No. 1 seed Delano at 6 pm. Friday, Feb. 24.
New Prague defeated Kennedy 5-2 in the season opener on November 29. The Trojans go into the playoffs with a 7-16-2 record. Kennedy is 3-20-2 and has lost its last 15 games.
