Trojans fall to Chaska; will travel to Northfield Tuesday
The New Prague Trojan football team lost its regular season finale at Chaska 48-14 Wednesday evening, Oct. 16.
The Trojans (1-7, 1-6 Missota) were seeded No. 5 in the Section 2AAAAA playoffs, which were released early Thursday morning. They wil play at No. 4 seed Northfield at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the section quarterfinals. Tuesday's winner will travel to Chaska for a 3 p.m. game Saturday, Oct. 26. In the other half of the bracket, No. 6 Waconia travels to No. 3 Chanhassen on Tuesday, with the winner playing at Mankato West on Oct. 26.
The Section 2AAAAA championship game will be played Friday, Nov. 1.
