Trojans get No. 3 seed in 1A boys hockey

The New Prague Trojans received the No. 3 seed for the Section 1A boys hockey tournament, it was announced Sunday, Feb. 17. 

Rochester Lourdes was seeded No. 1 and Mankato West No. 2. Northfield earned the No. 4 seed. 

The top four seeds receive byes in the first round of the playoffs. 

New Prague will open the post-season at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, against either Faribault or Waseca. Those two teams will play Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Faribault.
