Trojans softball wins playoff opener
Yvette Hanson crosses the plate with the game’s first run in New Prague’s 2-0 win over Rochester John Marshall in the first round of the Section 1AAAA playoffs Tuesday, May 24, at New Prague. Hanson had tripled to start the fifth inning and scored on a bunt single by Brianna Ellanson. The Trojans will face Lakeville South at 5 p.m. Thursday in Austin in the second round of the double-elimination tournament.
