Turner accepts volleyball scholarship at UW-Green Bay

New Prague High School senior, Cathy Turner signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Flanked by her high school coaches and close friend, Turner signed the national letter of intent Thursday, Nov. 11.

She is the daughter of Craig and Colleen Turner of New Prague.

The UW-Green Bay Phoenix is an NCAA Division I school and plays in the Horizon League. Last year the Phoenix was the conference tournament champion and qualified for the NCAA tourney.

Phoenix coach Debbie Kirch is looking forward to adding Cathy’s quickness and hitting ability to the team next season.
