Two local veterans recall war in the Pacific

During World War II, hundreds of young men from the New Prague area answered the call to defend their homeland when the United States was attacked.

Two of those men were Ray Bruzek and George Hadac. The two friends entered the U.S. Army in January 1943 and volunteered for the 511th parachute infantry regiment of the 11th Airborne Division.
