Vincent Arthur Beauchamp, 34

Vincent Arthur Beauchamp, 34, of Claremont, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at Methodist Hospital after a colossal fight with cancer, during which he stayed positive and encouraging to his family.

He was born November 27, 1983 in Klamath Falls, Oregon the son of Gary and Catherine (Libercajt) Beauchamp. Vincent grew up in California and Arizona.  He graduated from Tombstone High School.  He met his wife, Theresa Palmquist, Jan 25, 2003 in Tuscon, AZ.  The couple moved to Nevada where Vince completed his carpenter apprenticeship and worked with the carpenters union until 2005.  After a brief move to Minnesota the couple spent a few years in Colorado where Vince continued to work in construction and later in the coal mines.  After a work accident the couple returned to Minnesota where they settled in Claremont.  Vince worked for Louks Construction, Tru Green and most recently Chart Industries in Owatonna and New Prague.  Vince was forced to stop working after his Leukemia diagnosis in 2014.

Vince loved spending time with his family and friends.  His kids were the most important thing in his life.  Vince focused on teaching them and living in a way that set an example they can follow.  He was also very inspiring to everyone around him.  He had a constant concern for others and enjoyed helping others whenever he could.  Vince loved spending time outdoors while hunting, fishing and camping.  He enjoyed working on and driving his International Scout 4x4.  Vince was talented in woodworking and leatherworking and loved to use those talents to make things for others.  He was an excellent cook.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Beauchamp of Claremont; children, Vinny Beauchamp, Josie Beauchamp; mother, Catherine Mclain of Sierra Vista, AZ; sisters, Rebecca Beauchamp of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Libi (and Jason) Fenley of South Lake Tahoe, CA; father and mother in law, Lamar & Sheryl Palmquist of Le Center and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

He was preceded in death by father.

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday from 12pm to 2pm.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with Rev.
