Wagner - Chlan

Rachel Marie Chlan, daughter of Steve and Annette Chlan of Jordan, and Kurt Michael Wagner, son of Tom and Joanne Wagner of Elko, were married in a 3 p.m. ceremony Friday, June 21, 2013, at St. Nicholas Church in Elko New Market, with Father Daniel Haugan of St. Paul officiating.

Lectors were Jeremy Chlan of Veseli and Lori Wagner-Smith of Cottage Grove. Gift-bearers were Tom Chlan of Lonsdale and Terry Wagner of Webster. Music was by pianist Karen Custer.

The bride was escorted by her father. Sarah Riga of Belle Plaine, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Chlan of Jordan, sister of the bride, Jessica Simones of Elko, sister of the groom, Alissa Frey of New Prague, Skyler Hrabe of Burnsville and Bridget Hinderscheit of Lonsdale. Flower girls were Ava Chlan of Veseli, niece of the bride, and Jocelyn Simones of Elko, niece of the groom.

Best man was Troy Wagner of Aurora, CO, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Todd Wagner of Lakeville, brother of the groom, Darin Hrabe of Shakopee, Jason Hrabe of Burnsville, James Berndtson of Lonsdale and Anthony Sacco of Shakopee. Caden and Rylan Riga of Belle Plaine, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

Ushers were Garrett Sawyer of Savage, Josh Wagner of Webster, cousin of the groom, Preston Hinderscheit of Lonsdale and Justin Simones of Elko, Godson of the groom.

Alexandra Etringer of Lakeville, soon-to-be sisterin- law, and Damaris Wagner of Aurora, CO, sister-in-law, were the bride’s personal attendants.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Park Ballroom in New Prague. Following a wedding trip to Danbury, WI, the couple resides in Lakeville.

The bride has an AA degree from Normandale Community College, a BS degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is working toward an M.Ed. degree from Concordia University. She is employed by Independent School District 196.

The groom has an AAS degree from Minnesota State College, Southeast Technical, and is employed at Northfield Auto Body.
